The kiakahi (purpose) of this retreat is to enlighten and enable parents to build pono relationships with themselves, their mate & their keiki(s), with the spiritually pragmatic teachings of Ho'opono Pono Ke Ala (making right, more right the path). They say the beginning stages of a child are most important. Their ways of handling life's ups & downs, expressing themselves & creating all they desire are instilled at a very young age. If you don't know how, you make it up as you go along. Knowing what to do, how to handle yourself, your family & your career are a lot. Ho'opono Pono Ke Ala teaches "the manual" to manage all that is Pono (great) in your life & making it Mea Pono (more great) for today, tomorrow & beyond. ~~~ More on Aunty Mahealani & Neaulani: These sisters of Puna, Big Island, offer an opportunity to learn the "old ways" of life passed down from their grandfather & na kupuna. They share their teachings through mo'olelo (talk story), hula & oli (chant). ~~~ More on LiAnn: She enjoys teaching & learning from na keiki.
